Congratulations to 3 of our Juniors - Tara, Julie and Sarah on their successes in the recent Brookfield 2012 Junior Open.

GS 16 Winner
Tara Mcelroy [seeded 3] won 6-3 2-6 6-2.

Girls U12 Winner and Runner Up

Julie Melnic [seeded 6] beat Sarah Hawkshaw [seeded 4] 6-7 6-4 6-1.

Well done Girls and Good Luck in our Junior Spring Championship and the Templeogue Junior Open.

Junior Coaching Programme

Please note there will be NO Junior Coaching from Monday, 2nd April to Sunday, 15th April.
Coaching will re-commence on Monday, 16th April.

2012 Templeogue Junior Open

The 2012 Templeogue Junior Open Tournament will be held over the Easter holidays beginning on Friday, 6th April to Saturday, 14th April.
Closing date for entries is Thursday, 29th March.

Junior Spring Champioships 2012

Runs from Tuesday, 10th April to Saturday, 14th April inclusive.
Entries close on Tuesday, 27th March.

Easter Tennis Camp

Starts Monday, 2nd April and finishes on Thursday, 5th April.
The Camp is also open to non-members

For: Ages 6 - 13 years
Time: 9.30am to 12pm
Courts: Both Indoor and Outdoor Courts will be used
Cost: €70 for members and €80 for non-members
Choldren should bring a drink, light snack and a jacket

Naas LTC will be running their U9 & U11s Junior Open during the Halloween Bank Holiday.
The U9 is considered a transition event (to U10 in 2012) and therefore played on a full size court.

Players must be born on 2002 to be eligible to play.

The Tennis Ireland National Junior Ranking System

The Tennis Ireland National Junior Ranking system is a measure of
where you as a player are ranked in your age group on a National or
Provincial basis. More details are available in the booklet
Tennis Ireland National Junior Ranking System.

To be included in the National Junior Ranking system you must have
a Tennis Ireland Personal Identity Number (TI PIN).

Your TI PIN is essential to ensuring that your results are correctly
entered in the ranking system. If you do not have a TI PIN yet,
please register online at:

https://www.tennisireland.ie/player_database/player_registration

If you already have a provisional or test ID number within the system,
this number will change and you will be allocated a new 8 digit TI PIN.
Your TI PIN is vital to ensuring your National or Provincial Ranking
is accurate at all times.

Please Remember NO PIN - NO POINTS

Finally, the new National Junior Ranking system comes into effect on
the 1st November 2011. You can monitor your ranking at any time at:

http://www.tennisireland.ie/rankings

and the ranking will also be displayed on your profile within
the Tennis Ireland National Player Database (NPD) along with all
your results (http://www.tennisireland.net/).
